LMM – EDUCATIONAL VISITS

EnthusiastsThe London Motorcycle Museum is not just West London’s centre for our British Motorcycling heritage, but is fast becoming a useful addition to local schools’ resources.

Educational VisitsBoth primary and secondary schools are finding numerous applications across the National Curriculum at all levels and because of the museum’s continual development there is always something new to see or do.

We welcome a free preview visit prior to your booking to discuss any specific requirements you may have. This helps you (and us) to provide a programme that is suited to your particular needs. There is a TV and video-player available should you require them, and a guide/explainer can be on hand to offer specific or general help/support. We also have a teacher’s resource pack available for purchase.

A typical school visit comprises:

*Introductory presentation on arrival

*Tour of the museum and adjoining buildings (with guide)

*Facilities for eating lunch (inc. picnic possibilities) & toilets

* Visit to gift/souvenir shop

*Supervised time for individual work (creative writing, sketching, etc.)

Open for pre-booked school visits Mon-Thurs 10.00am-3.00pm.
Teacher preview visits during normal hours Sat/Sun 10.00am-4.30pm.

Free parking for cars, minibuses, coaches, on site.

Admission: £1.50 per child (Teachers/helpers free).

Call Philippa on 020 8579 1248 for further details or to make a booking.
